We require elementary, junior high and high school admissions testing once an initial tour and interview with the applicant and family has been completed.  If previous testing is available and has been conducted within two years, admissions testing may be waived.   


In addition, for high school students, a transcript is required for review of transferable credits a student has earned prior to enrollment at ALA,  in order to develop an ALA Recommended or Distinguished Graduation Plan.

The 2019-2020 school year enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis and opens as follows:

  1. February 11: Returning Students & Siblings

  2. March 4: New Students

Enrollment Fees 

  • Returning Families:

    • Before March 1: $475​

    • Between March 1 & May 1: $600

    • After May 1: $1,500

    • $750 Curriculum & Supply Fee

  • New Families:​

    • $475 Registration Fee

    • $750 Curriculum & Supply Fee

    • $1,500 One-time New Family Building Fee

    • $250 Admissions Testing (if testing has not been completed within the previous 2 years)

 

Steps to Enroll at ALA:

  1. Tour Campus & Complete Admissions Testing/Review

  2. Complete Enrollment Application

  3. Pay Applicable Registration Fees

  4. Submit Applicable Student Forms

  5. Sign Family Contract
